My boating season is over, she's coming ashore for some work.

This year, we've been to almost every port in the Solent area, certainly all the ones I like, plus a quick trip to Dartmouth and Brixham, won 2 trophies and run the Cowes Classic with Scarron.

We've covered 700 or so miles and had 23 nights on board.

Biggest expense was restuarant bills.

The secret to making boating good value is to use it lots.

Have to agree best season for many years, most nights on board, most nights away, and spent liest amount on fuel( did not gave to continually go across Chanel to chase the weather!
Re ignighted love of boating, just bought new boat and jet ski for garage, ready for ( optimistically ) next season of good weather.

Totally agree. It's been our first full season and what a great one. Weather has been great when you compare what a washout 2012 was. Only depressing thought is having to winterise her early November, not long now :(
