The Whale Gulper 320 is intended for 1” and 3/4” hose. The spec in the brochure and on the box quote about 10% more flow rate when using the smaller 3/4” hose which I find odd. This is true with 0m or 1m of inlet rise, both feeding a 1m outlet head.
The Whale tech that I spoke to did not seem surprised but could not explain it.
Any suggestions?
