Weymouth Restaurant

Just had a terrific supper in a new, small restaurant in Weymouth. Being stuck here today waiting for the F8 to pass we stumbled over The Monkeys Fist restaurant, by the old brewery place on the left side of the harbour as you go in.
They have only been open a week but it was amazingly good and v good value. A v nice find!

How busy is Weymouth ? Headed there tomorrow if the forecast light northerly holds up. Will look this place up.

We've not been there for a couple of years but have always had excellent fish at Floods and a warm reception. 100yds down from the Harbour Office. Booking recommended.

If you're prepared to pay Flood's' prices (and it is a good restaurant) I heartily recommend Crab House Cafe. Its a please walk along the coast path or a short taxi ride, but great food in an intersting setting.
