Wetterzentrale Problem

I had a quick look at the site and clicked on all the maps and they all seem to be bang up to date - todays date at 10.00 UTC

it's about time you Brits realize there's more than just one language in the world.
If you want to use German sites than bl**dy learn German. I would be lost if I would just speak my mothersa tonge.

No, you've got it wrong. If we Brits want to use a German site then they should bl**dy well make an English version available. Can't see why they want to speak German anyhow. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

At the risk of teaching granny etc, have you right clicked and selected 'refresh' when you visit the page? Otherwise, it will simply load your previously viewed page.

Hey C'mon, They stole all your bikes at the end of the war to get home...and why are you using an English forum site not a german one right now ????
Trying to keep cool Bob E..

Yes Right clicked, Left clicked, Refreshed and all that..
But still no joy!
The 120 hour fcast shows a date " VT 31-AUG/00Z"
the 72 is " VT 29-AUG/00Z£
and NOW is "VT 26/09Z"
and that's ten mins ago..

BTW they got back to Pompey in their chartered Bavaria ( Austian or German?) 36 at around 1700 Sun. After phone discussions with Roland in Braye and me here they left at 0330 to get tide with wind and came back under genny... Said it was a great sail... But one crew member jumped ship in Braye at around 0330 had to put her ashore at the slipway - sounded dodgy... Not a relative or I'd disown.. Gotta trust the Skipper whos word must be final..

Furthermore in the evening they were unable to get ashore 'cause they didn't know that the Mainbrace Water Taxi had stopped at an "early" hour..
When I spoke with Roland he said only a few boats on moorings and so taxi stopped running unless booked...and this charter boat was "dinghyless".
Of course it don't say this in Reeds!! So no feast at the "chippy"..

Any way let's hope for better weather for Cherbourg.
Cheers Bob E..
