Wetline 265 Rib

Anybody out there got one of these, I have seen one advertised on e-bay as being a rib showing a plastic hull as in normal ribs but after going on line at Google they seem to be advertised as Rib type with v shaped inflatable floor. is it possible that they used to market a rib hull.

Don't think that they did. However contact Mark Dowland Marine the importers and they (might) tell you.

I think that what you have seen is the version with an inflatable floor but not the usual flat one. Someone in China has come up with a vee shaped inflatable cellular floor to fit the space previously occupied by a combination of "inflatable surfboard" flat floor and tubular inflatable keel - which never looked particularly satisfactory AND left a huge void to fill with water & sand. I went through 2 of the Wetline inflatable floor V type hull, both of them leaked in different places so I was not happy.

I would avoid Wetline if I were you, although the main tubes were fine.

Thanks Steve. I contacted Dowland Marine and they told me that there was Wetline 265 rib sold but two years ago, so this one sounds to fit the bill, I want a tender under 3mtr that will go on my davits.
