Has anybody used Chill Cheater light weight wet suits for dinghy sailing?

They Look like a really good alternative to 3mmm neoprene suits. I found them on www.chillcheater.com. Their designer, who I spoke to, thinks they would be ideal though originally designed for canoe use.

Also seen the site and was really impressed... Don't know how they'd cope with snagging though. In the end I bought a wetsuit from "The Wetsuit Factory" in Liskeard. Made to measure (I'm a short fat bastard) for £65...bargain I thought. Really well made and delivered in two weeks.

Me too, though I bought shorties from JAG. My decision was a compromise because my sailing club was not convinced about the thermal protection in our freezing cold resevoir would be enough with the Chill Cheaters but was prepared to accept shorty wet suits.

The boat sounds great. Is there a stack of work to do on it?

The boat is great.. the bulk of the work is now done. Had her re-engined recently, and completed the rigging, just got cosmetic stuff to do now really. Having her trucked to plymouth next week, and then motoring up the Tamar to my mooring. It'll be nice to finally have my house where I want it!
