Hello everyone,

I'm looking for information on a class of boat known as a Westwind 32... a double-ender of Colin-Archer-ish type (maybe a derrivative of "Eric", like the Westsail 32?)... constructed in GRP-sheathed strip-plank, in Canada.

Can anyone point me at / send me some info?

Thanks in anticipation!

Ruth

There is a series of boats known as Westwind built in Taiwan by the Young Sun boatyard, but I believe only 35 and 43 foot versions. They are double-enders, with a GRP hull moulded to look like strip plank. I have a 43 Pilot House, there's a 35 for sale here:

The 35 was designed by Bob Perry, the 43 by Ron Amy. Bob Perry is based in Seattle, not far from the Canadian border, so might it be possible that the 32 you are referring to is a protoype?
