Westline 34 update...

The processor averages out readings over a period, so even if the attitude sensor failed and sent an incorrect signal, the tabs would be applied slowly and the helmsman would have time to react.
Understood, but what happens while steering?
Does it try to flatten the boat by lowering the internal tab?
At serious speeds, that could even be dangerous...!

I think the boat's attitude is averaged out over something like 20 secs, so for normal change of direction turns you don't even notice the auto tabs. I'm sure if I did donuts then it would affect the boats handling, but i'd turn it off at playtime. We've hopefully got a day on the boat tomorrow, so i'll start a new thread with some feedback on the auto tabs, as there seems to be a bit of interest.
