Are they well built,is there any issue with the keels,how are they performing?Thanks

If you are considering the Tempest, then add the Fulmar to your list. I am a WOA Boatline member for the Fulmar if you want any information.

Suspect they are as well made as the westerly's of that era, no nonsense fiberglass and wooden interiors, I've not heard of issues with the Tempest, however you got to like the cabin layout which is much more modern and to my mind less spacious and useful in the ordinary use of the boat.
Another Fulmar owner, Bilge keel version, so biased as well!

We are just restoring a fin keel Tempest that we bought earlier in the year. We currently have her stripped out awaiting new headlinings throughout and I must say that I have found nothing that isn't beautifully constructed - very pleased indeed

A friend has had one for years and is very pleased indeed with it. Solid. Sails well.
