Beautiful looking hull. Tiller steering. Bilge keel option. Nice saloon area. Bags of accommodation and storage. Unusual not to have a forecabin, although it was an option in later models.

Only problem is that they're very expensive for what is a 1988 boat. I suppose that says something for the build quality of them.

If we could pick one up for 15k then could possibly be our next boat, otherwise we'll need a lottery win.

The other, albeit smaller option is a Centaur, but they look a little funny.

We had one.

Decks went spongey, gel coat wore off on radiuses, headlining fell down, slammed worse than my so-called AWB ... often to an absolute standstill off Hillhead in a moderate swell, port keel leaked, teak toerail split away where it was scarfed ... I'm sure there's more AND underneath all that it was a safe and comfortable boat. But :nonchalance:
