Hi
Anybody know where i can get a stanchion base for my Westerly Griffon? Takes a 1" diameter pole , 3 bolts on 2 1/2" centres.
Cant get in touch with Trafalgar Services, no website, phone not ringing?
I wish people rafting alongside would be a bit more careful, or at least say sorry!
Thanks for any help.

Trafalgar Yacht Service has ceased trading as they have retired.

If you ask the question on the WOA forum, there is one supplier who should be able to help, but I cannot remember the link.

Thanks for info, unfortunately not a member- any chance you can find the link?

You can join the WOA forum without being a member. They pattern of the alloy base is not standerd and there is one supplier that does a matching footprint.

Joining the WOA only costs £17.50 per year and worth every penny. The discount I get using the insurance scheme is larger than the cost of membership.

I wonder if your referring to Allen Brothers part YS 7157B, it’s a good fit, but they’ve stopped making them according to their website, and I can’t find any old stock in any dealer. Help!

I had similar problem on a Sadler 32 stanchion base.

I popped in to see a local alloy wheel refurbishing outfit, who directed me next door to someone who welded a new piece on and remade the missing hole, all in in his lunch break for the price of a couple of beers.

Perfectly acceptable result, but not anodised of course.

So ask around locally, you might get lucky.
