Hi

I've just purchased this boat but I'm struggling to understand how you reduce the height of the Dinette table thus to create the double cabin berth.

Am I missing a trick. There's a lever at both the top and bottom of the single central leg. I'm guessing that you have to swap the full length leg for a shorter version to enable the table to lower and create the berth.

If this is correct I don't seem to have the shorter leg version. I haven't found it on board yet. Can you get these?

Westerly centaurs used to have 2 short replacement legs and all you did was undo the bolts and remove the long legs from the table top and slot in short ones . This was on a B layout version . The levers I think enable you to remove the legs. You could try the westerley owners club for legs but my recollection was they were just round hollow steel version of the standard legs but shorter so if you take the current long one out might be simple to buy a sort one. Pageants might be different but a Post on WOA will no doubt be simple enough.

IIRC the original legs were just tapered at either end & just slotted into the aluminium bases & didn't have levers. As Ashtead said, 2 different lengths 1 for the table & 1 for the bunk. If it's got levers I assume it might be an aftermarket fitment.
A picture might help as well.

Hi.

I played around today and have since uploaded a picture which is shown at the top of this thread in my original post.

I suspect as you suggest it swaps for a smaller 14" version thus to create the berth.
