Westerly Corsair Volvo Penta 2003 with coolant system. Water strainer spec?

Help! I’m about to go into Caledonian canals and notices the raw water strainer is brittle and is losing vacuum. What flow is required for a Volvo penta 2003 with coolant system?

Pretty sure you have 19mm (3/4") hose so this webshop.vetus.com/en/product/ftr330-19-vetus-water-strainer There are other makes, probably cheaper in the chandlers and some have stepped spigots .

There is a chandler and possibly a workshop at the Caley Marina at the Inverness end of the canal.

So all fixed and £900 spent on the Isle of Man on service as coolant was not circulating. Now coolant pump leaking like a sieve (having been “serviced” and held up in Holyhead waiting for another engineer. Starting to wonder if I’ve got a badly looked after engine
