Just back from a week in w.wales looking at all the beaches within the bombing ranges (the ones we normally miss as we have to go outside the exclusion zone) It was amazing and there is no bombing this month so good time to go and explore.
Manobier is a good starting point.

Yet surprisingly last Sunday a yacht from Milford was sent 5 miles out from Linney Hd by Castlemartin Range. This surprised me as a) the ranges are usually closed in August, and b) they don't fire on the weekend. So what's going on I wonder...?

probably transferring the cargo from that Russian ship which was, err, kidnapped.

Better look out for some cheap timber in Milford then...pity Finland doesn't grow hardwoods.

Range closed

I was on the patrol boat and it is closed for august so just transit......maybe safe to call them though.
Has anyone gone down the tunnels from little haven? It was rising tide so i didn't risk it.
New addition to our fleet is a 75mph race boat!!!!!
Don't leave gear in your boat down there, we had spear gun and all fishing kit stolen and we were camping next to the ***** that nicked it. Nice guy with the cat had all the wooden bits nicked so they could have a bbq. Normally i would have kicked off but with son and wife against 12 of them i thought better to leave it and call cops.
I know who nicked the gear, so off down there soon (with the lads) to sort them out. Anyone want to come?
