West Scotland (always a bit different, but loads of pics)

Great Pics, reminds me of my trip a few years ago on aliveaboard diving the sound of mull and a few nights in Tobermory - just loved the place. Oneday I'll take my boat up there and cruise the great sites.

A pleasure to post if someone finds it interesting...

Resolved to write up in MS Word, including image addresses (global replace for the tags...), then cut each section out from the previous post (before posting), to paste it into the quick reply..... not really a move forwards and a right pain in the @*se...

Think the rules need to change, or there will be more than me who will stop making long posts supported by images for illustration.........

Please let me know if you need any information ahead of your journey through the canal ... what type of cruiser have you chartered??

We know the Caley Canal well having been up every year from the age of 6 to 25ish and every 2 or 3 years since, we even had our 'wedding' at Foyers 2 years ago and we were all on boats. The main reason for going this time is to get the next generation of the family into boating, my sister and he husband want to take their kids but want us 2 to go with them the first time to give them some confidence. We have hired one of the bigger boats from Caley Cruisers, I think it is based on an old Broom 39 or similar, they fit them out themselves.

If you are giong to be in the area the week of the 5th October then let me know!
