We sailed Ishtar from Cardiff to Dale at the weekend, to her summer mooring. Locked out Cardiff at 08:00 Friday, arrived Dale, 00:30 Saturday morning, tired but happy.

Some pics,

Hey, Graham. It's just over three years since you took me out in Cardiff Bay for my first ever UK sail. We then locked out and had a bit of a run down to Penarth as I recall.

It's all your fault mate.......:D

Sneds, and anyone else - drop me a line if you're down there. We'll have a beer in the Griffin.

We should be about this weekend, Tico. I have a couple more moorings to dive, then it will be up the river or St Brides Bay/Skomer, depending on weather.

Anywhere near D20i? 51D 42.347N 05D 09.529W inshore directly from the floating pontoon.

Its a bit cold for my wetsuit yet.... suitable recompense offered.

Hope to see you around there,P

I'll happily dive it, Tico, but I don't have air this weekend. I have enough (just) to do what I need.

I'll be down a fair bit, so it's no problem.

pm sent.

Good to catch up with you and Mrs Tico at Dale yesterday! Apologies if we seemed somewhat distracted. You arrived in the middle of a minor catastrophe. We'd taken down a permanent tender to leave there. When we got it there it turned out to be letting in water.

We tried to fix the leak on the water, to no avail. As I dozed off, it went missing, presumed sunk. Adam (Watermint) here, found it ashore, so we went in with the inflatable where he and Dave (Mar y Sol) helped fix the leak. I then promised to help Dave bring his boat onto the pontoon, which is whay I had to run off.

Anyway, all turned out well. Got the shackles and will sort!

Don't know if you bumped into this fella on the pontoon:

He really didn't seem bothered, even with the comings and goings of boats. Maybe ill?
