Too cold in these North Easterlies or is it worth going out and about from Plymouth this weekend? Long drive from London to sit under grey skies freezing my nuts off....

Any predictions that will make SWMBO get out from under the duvet?

We are due to head for Brixham tomorrow eve and had planned a trip up the Dart Sat/Sun - but as you say doesnt look brilliant does it. The annoying thing is that everything looks like its changing nicely for Monday/Tues when we wont be there!! Think we'll prob go and hope its brighter than they say. Otherwise its doors shut and heating on!

Dartmouth will be busy onshore at least, it's music festival w/e. Many of the locals prefer it to regatta week. We'll be there come what may, mooring just off Darthaven. Say hi, all our neighbours from home are descending for a barbie on Sunday so the weather had better be good!!

You can check the actual current weather here for Dartmouth and also a webcam view of the entrance:- http://www.nci-frowardpoint.org.uk/weather.htm

The graphs are useful for checking trends, such as Barometric pressure.

P.S. Donations are always welcome!!

North Easterlies all weekend....
Even with 1.5m swell off Brixham this morning, you could hear the pilot boat's turbo dump valves pretty regularly as he chickened out over the crests....
Probably OK up the Dart once you get up there, perhaps further up off Greenway, but it will be pretty nippy all weekend...
