The best summer for many a year - stand on this hill with me and look down on Acarseid Mhor - North Harbour - Gometra. Memories of these days will take us through the winter.

I assume these are memories of last year - as someone who lives on the South West coast of Caledonia, such days were rare indeed this summer.

Purely selfish, other half and I are off there for 2 weeks at the start of Sep and that looks v nice. Mind you it couldjust be a big puddle the weather we've had up here recently.

not only no pub, but no bowling alley, no slot machines, no fairground rides. Looks boring as hell. Give me Ryde on a wet cold Sunday mid winter afternoon anytime! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
