We\'re getting our boat back!

A week on Fridayish, weather permitting HE and a mate will be bringing the boat back down from brooms. Probably calling in to Ramsgate en route. HE's been passage planning like mad, pencils, rubbers bits of plastic and paper everywhere. Sweet really. Lost child without his toy. Any way if this is the case, watch out the Solent the following weekend, cause we'll be there, rugby, children, cats, dogs permitting. Phew, I might even have something boaty to report for a change.

Why has the boat been back to Brooms, surely not remedial work it,s nearly new ?.

No, only a few niggles, and some new non drip stern glands, and HE wanted the floor to lift in one large piece on gas struts, rather than lots of hatches to reach the engines from the top, which of course meant recarpetting the saloon, so I suggested that all the stair carpets were removed and replaced with non slip tread, cause the carpet was horrible.
