Wells next the Sea 2015

A few pictures of our trip from Lincoln to Wells next the Sea and back last week. Unfortunately we didn't get as much time as we would have liked in Wells due to the weather but it turned out to be a good call heading back on Wednesday afternoon. We would still be stuck there now had we not decided it was time to head for home!

Lovely photos. I had to look up where 'Wells Next The Sea' was. It looks great (reminded me a little of Christchurch in Dorset, although Im sure its very different.)

We'll be heading to Wells too at the end of June, have they extended the visitor pontoon?
As their 2nd webcam isn't working (looking up the run) I can't tell.

Some very familiar locations on there, and favourite stop-offs at Fiskerton Fen (lovely and quiet), Bardney etc

Yes they have extended the pontoon although the electric and water were not connected yet. The new facilities block was well under way and might be finished in time for your visit.

We did come in close to the range to find some smoother water so it could well have been us.

The first two weeks in July we are heading across the Wash to explore the Great Ouse. We are getting a one week visitors licence so will have some time to spare. If the weather is good we may pop round to Wells again for a couple of days.
