I mentioned in another thread that I was putting a slide show together, outlining the refurb I did on my Wellcraft Sportsman. I've posted it on youtube, but the link doesn't seem to want to work.

Well, good for you! Congratulations on a spectacular job. I shudder to think how long it took or what it cost. I couldn't have done the slide show never mind all that boat work! Any time you want a job in the South of France ..... :encouragement:

Thanks for the kind words. I've always been big into fixing and mending and I enjoy it and do indeed find it very satisfying. But I'm looking forward to the real satisfaction of motoring down Kenmare bay, with the smell of fresh coffee and the salt air in my nostrils!

As a more detailed addition to the above, here's a link to a blog I posted on another forum. It starts off with a refurb I did on a smaller, 16' Microplus and then follows on to the work I did on the Wellcraft. Just something to while away those long winter days!
