Well priced places to leave a boat atlantic coast france/spain and med spain

I seem to remember Sada was twice the price of inner harbour at A Coruna. Is my memory correct? Plus you have a great town on your doorstep.

I don’t know the prices but a youtuber kept his catamaran on a pontoon in the outer harbour and had trouble with the swell and wind,A Coruna is known for its winds,Sada slightly more sheltered is about ten mins to the town although there Isa supermarket but a stones throw away, ther are two marinas the yacht club one is friendlier and cheaper

Yes, there was some swell in the inner harbour but we suffered no damage. Loved the place. We took a car over at Xmas and went around to Sada to take a look, but it seemed a miserable sort of place to winter. Each to his own, I suppose.

We were planning to go further south but when the Real marina told us the winter rates we went no further. I see currently that Sada is a bit more expensive on annual rates, but no info on 6 months winter mooring for either.

When we leave the boat anywhere for a period we always double up lines. In A Coruna I bought nylon 3 strand to give some flex since it was our first winter away and there was obviously some swell. Had no problem. Sada may be more exposed.

The crew did a cycle up to the lighthouse every morning on the bike path. A bit of culture around the place.
