TCM estimates that he will be dropping his anchor just outside the Dutch Bridge in Sint Maarten at midnight (Sint Maarten time) this evening, which is where he set off from in Jan 2012.

Congratulations on completing a circumnavigation, Matt. Am really pleased for you. Now what are you going to do?

Congratulations! Having been forced to abandon a circumnavigation in Australia a few months ago owing to health problems, I feel nothing but envy.

But, as in certain things in life, there are no prizes for speed. Go the scenic way next time, TCM!

Weird to thing you end up where you started. Reminiscient of the famous conversation on Suhaili when Robin Knox-Johnston sailed back into Carrick Roads at the end of the Golden Globe:

Customs Officer: "Port of embarkation?"

R K-J: "Falmouth"

'Falmouth' I replied.
 
Don't know tcm, but have been following the blog avidly for months: a daily fix is definitely required to get the day going.

I think he should be voted Yachtsman of the Year.............
