Very nearly first!

And well done Dipper for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. At one time I was first (never been that before) then dropped to second at which point I decided to sail 180° in the wrong direction. I managed to get back up to second when I then took a shortcut which meant I missed the mark.

I'll know better for tomorrow's race - I hope.

The red mist descended and I thought 'That looks a good route inside the island. It's almost a straight line'. Doh.

Lesson learned from yesterday...I'm not going to take the inside channel down the east coast tonight. I took it last night and grounded Cost me a few places.
