Well done the RSA

Would be nice to know where the underwater obstruction really was.

There are 2 old wartime wrecks that were used as bombing targets I believe, they are both marked by beacons, but it is possible a fishing boat might have thought it was a good area to fish?

The boat gave its position as one of the old bombing target wrecks when broadcasting the Mayday, but there seem to be some confusion as which pair of targets they had hit.

Indeed well done the Gentlemen (for that they certainly are) of the RSA. They are very well versed in creeping over the Dengie. Miles inshore of me usually.

Pleased there was a good result all round, and that the targets now have a new topmark in the form of a fishing vessel.

The last was a flippant comment by the way.

Were not too far away and listening in. When the CG asked what safety equipment they carried I think they repled 1 old lifebuoy and 2 empty diesel cans. Does that qualify as a "well found" vessel ?
