Today, Lynn and I took young Jamie Luke out for his first trip out on a boat.
As we had left the diddy lifejacket on the boat, I went out to the mooring and fetched Full Circle onto RCYC pontoon (at lunchtime in full view, no cock ups please!), or at least tethered to one edge of it.
He took to it immediately and only briefly struggled when introduced to the LJ.
After that, he waved at everything, we saw Summer Solstice out looking good.
We returned to the mooring early so we could go to the Burnham Lifeboat Open Day, and so passed young Jamie over the rail into the Corinthian launch, which he really enjoyed. Strolled up the pontoon without a care in the world, bless him.
All in all a good days introduction to boating.
