Weekend plans?

Exactly the kind of thing I'm eager to avoid.
TBH: when afloat, land scares me a lot more than the sea.

Well, when I go aground on a nasty shore, I can walk to shore, as I am 1.67m and my boat draws 1.1m, so my head is sort of above water.
Not so when you draw 2.0+m, that is above my head, and therefore increases the prospect of some nasty things.

Got the sea worthy an essential parts bits working ................. water tight mmmmmm maybe on a dry day ............................ certainly do not have the interior done - or for that matter even started!

Ah, that reminds me, haven't been below yet so I dread to think what might be in need of repairs down there
Raining again so may well take the time to venture there after wasting most of the afternoon waiting for no show after no show supposed job applicants, grrr
Pass the jet wash from de left hand side

Recovering from 6 night shifts Saturday then hopefully finish scraping my bottom , topsides polish and some tidying up on Sunday , ordering the Antifoul next week and then just the headlining in the bog to put back up ...

Yep , got up at 16:00 , looked out window - same as usual - wet n windy - aint missed much - dinner & off to pub - maybe tomorrow will be better ......................

Good day!

Bright and sunny early on, got a coat of antifoul on and retouched the boottop

Then it got a bit wet and windy so we relocated to on board and sorted out the engine, electronics and do on

Tomorrow looks promising, reckon we should be ready to go back in by the time we knock off

I've been hearing about '20 degrees at the weekend,' all week.

Yes - it's certainly warmer than it has been recently - on the water report from the Medway - raining, gusty SW wind and Magna BBQ staying in locker!

Well, that didn't go as planned. :(
Forecast Summer failed to materialise - overcast and wind hovering around the 25kts mark.
Made an attempt to leave our berth twice, got blown back in twice.
If it hadn't been for Wild Otter and his fast footwork... Thanks Ian.

The 'Help For Heroes' bear took it all in his stride.

Raining again

Good weekend 'tinkering'. Hard to say what I achieved other than more things on the list but I enjoyed it!!

Sat having a cuppa between jobs after it had started drizzling Saturday afternoon and I noticed a wet patch on the bunk cushion, quick investigation and the forward end of the saloon window is dribbling - would you believe it the open tube of sikaflex like stuff had set solid over the winter. Cushion moved off the bunk until I sort it next weekend!

Reading everyone else's weekend news I don't feel guilty for staying on the pontoon either :)
