The yellow one you passed is the commadore of Farndon Boat Club

Did you have a good night on the wall at Newark and a few buds ;) ?

We intended to stop on the castle wall in Newark however we moored there for an hour on our own, no other boats stopped, all the other moorings where full and the local drunks where inhabiting the benches in the park so we decided to head further upstream.

We ended up at the Bromley Arms, Fiskerton moored on the side of the dutch barge "Angel Hardy" for a while, then they left and headed back downstream. Excellent food in there its just a shame the pontoon isnt a bit bigger.

The following day we had a quick nip down to Farndon to meet up with some friends who where heading back downstream after going to Nottingham. They stayed in the marina whilst we stayed on the BW pontoon outside the Riverside Pub.

It was a good extended weekend all in all. Just a shame we have so much cleaning to catch up on now!!

is'nt the yellow one up forsale?
i believe it's the 290 model.

Not sure, they seemed to be enjoying themselves though, steaming up the Trent!!!

Anyway have a nice weekend away.

Wish we where going somewhere. Weather forecast looks great and we will be stuck in port cleaning canopies and liberally applying Fabsil!!!
