Wedding weekend sailing

Going to the boat but staying local and getting some maintainace items ticked off.

Have a good time.
Enjoy the rain Friday, Saturday and the 26 to 30 knot ENE that is forcast for Sunday.

...at least that was the plan. Just seen shipping forecast: N-NE 5-7 occasionally gale 8. Just what we want - a northerly gale piling it up as the North Sea funnels :-(

may have to watch the wedding :-(((

Wind Guru is showing nothing like that only gusts upto high 20s what forecast are people looking at

shipping forecast and inshore waters - not as bad now (5s and 6s) but sea state moderate / rough reflecting the stronger winds in the last two days.

One lesson learned many years ago - for the southern north sea - check the weather for the days beforehand too as anything northerly piles up the sea in the bottom half. 2-3 days of N ly gales leaves it v lumpy. Good beam-reach over to France but prob 2-3m seas on the beam the whole way could make it an uncomfortable sail

Thinking about a blast out to Roughs Towers on Sunday though - now what was the time Bernie posted?
