Website Software

Site worked for me.

A good cheap prog is either Sherif Page Plus 11, works as a DTP and will convert to web, or work in web, will work in and generate PDF files. They do WebPlus 10, a cheap mans Dreamweaver, but easier to use.

Buy on line, PC world do but 2 issues out of date.

I have been using Frontpage 2002 until recently. Now changed over to Frontpage 2003. I was quite please with the 2002 version, however, it seemed to have some bugs. I don't know the full advantages of the 2003 version (yet) but I am sure I will find out soon. Practice makes Perfect. I found I needed a small handbook in order to sort out the main issues, the rest comes as you build your site. Have a look at the two sites I keep in the air: www.heerenleed.com and www.nicholsonkring.nl
I find blogs quite nice as long as you have been able to follow the story straight from the beginning. Looking up older posts in order to pick up the story is a bit of a hassle IMHO.

cheers

I use both sailblogs and a free web design/hosting service called talkspot--Ken, the man who offers talkspot, is extremely helpful--www.talkspot.com. What I like about talkspot is that once you chose the template, you can do almost anything. I've been able to load snippets of music; the photo manager works really well and gives lots of options; you can write your pages in Word and import them directly; and it's so intuitive that even a non-web person can get something up and running easily. If you're interested, you can check out one of three sites I've built on talkspot--SeaVenture's webpage Also, if you don't want to buy your own domain name, they give you one for free.

Blessings,
Normandie

Try Google Pages. It new, very simple and completely free!/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif If you can drive a word processor and know how to put in images then you could build reasonable web site in a couple of hours.

Good luck
