I have been updating my website today, with a couple of things people might find interesting.
First one is in Metallurgy>Corrosion, the first time I have ever seen graphitic corrosion on a boat, probably due to a very specific water chemistry but possibly with the metallurgical state of the iron a contributor.
Second one is I have completely rehashed the Anchoring>chain page as the result of my recent research for a YM article. I have tried to summarise all the relevant info in one page, which I have not seen elsewhere.
There is also a dramatic new pic of a dezincified hose tail on the Metallurgy>brass & bronze page, first posted here so some will have seen it.
As ever, thanks for all the input from so many forum members and any comment or criticism most welcome.
