webasto water heater and radiators

Hi, could someone tell me what radiator valves i need for the radiators running a webasto top c water heater? the instructions say do not use thermostatic valves. There is 2 valves per radiator ( these came with the rads i bought) and one on each is a Thermostatic type not sure what the other one is i think its just open.
Will a manual valve be ok and can you adjust the temp manually or is the rads kept full open all the time?

On mine the valves stay open the whole time but each radiator has an electric fan which is thermostatically controlled.

Yes. Most of ours are standard gate valves, although one is a ball valve because of a space restriction.
