My Webasto heater isn’t working properly.
When first switched on today, it tried a few times to start before flashing a flame failure F02 fault code which it hasn’t done before. Switching it off and letting it wind down before turning it back on again a second time brought a little more success. The cabin air output was warm but even afterten minutues was not as hot as it used to be when used last time.

I could hear the pump quietly ticking away as usual so I’ll start by tracking the fuel line and see if I can disconnect it and check for partial blockages. Any other advice of what to look for would be appreciated.

Which model is it?
Could well be coked up. The service kit contains everything but not cheap. Easy to do, hardest part is probably removing the unit. After that it’s a straight forward job.

Had problems with our 4 year old eberspacherD5 failing to start and behave over the holidays. Fortunately our excellent local dealer In Cowes came up trumps and took it off New Years Eve got a full service delivered from the mainland 3/1 fitted it and refitted the now new again d5 Eberspaecher on 4/1. Sterling service, which was not cheap but mucho appreciated, Seems unit was a tad coked up and probably should have been serviced biannually at least.
