I wanted a timer for a Webasto Air Top, had to buy the timer and an adaptor to make it fit the Air Top. l bought a new Autoterm for not much more money and put the Webasto on Ebay.

While I don't have any experience with this device, it seems like the Webasto thermoconnect (TCON2) might work for you. If I recall correctly, this is the same unit our dealer recommended when we were configuring our boat. We didn't need remote control, so we didn't select this option.
Note: the device has an eSIM preinstalled, and comes with a service subscription. First 12 months free, followed by a yearly subscription fee. Here in Finland that seems to be around £35 (40 eur). Subject to change, of course.

Some documentation: 1) Product page, 2) data sheet, 3) Operating and installation instructions

On eber there is one wire (yellow) between controller and heater unit that will run it up if given 12v and do a full cool down cycle when disconnected. I believe webasto is much the same but you'd have to try it, on my D4 I connected a generic gsm relay switch into the system with it set to run for one hour when called which has worked fine for years with a payg sim card but every 3 months I have to send a signal check request by text to keep the sim active or the number drops off the system, regular calls use no credit as it rejects the call and opens the relay/timer, it is set to only respond to our numbers.
It can be toggled on and off with texts but you have to remember to turn it off again so we just call and use the 1 hour timer, usual use is to call it when ordering the last pint to return to a toasty boat or call it on the way to the boat.
You could do much the same with any timer that operates a relay.
