Two questions, what's the best way to get space free to have a web site when cruising with no isp? And I need to upgrade sounds unboard, car sterio seems best way forward ( there's one there already) with mp3 playing ability. any good ones or bad ones I should avoid?

Thanks

Re: Web sites & music

I have put a sony cd car stereo in which can take an auxilry input, to which I have plugged a hard disk based MP3 player into (similer to an ipod etc). gives you most flexability, for example I can play the camcorder audio back thru the hifi too etc.

Does the web space have to be free? I buy 50Mb for £15 per year plus £5.00 for my domain name. This also gives me online e-mail facility. I use https://www.34sp.com/. The free ones are, from what I can see, well, rubbish. Limited space and annoying adverts. You generally have to use their templates and they offer no cgi facilities and no domain e-mail which is very handy if you do not have an ISP.

I bought a goodmans car MP3 player which I am pleased with, the best bit is the remote control so we can control it while sat at the table or by putting your hand through the hatch when under way. Bought mine at Argos, about 80 squid I think....but they seemed to have stopped selling them...

Tescos have them at £69.99

There is prolly better on the market, but at this price, if you kill it off after a few years from damp etc. It is not the end of the world.

I will definitely recommend this unit!
