Web cam over Chatham Maritime Marina no longer available.

The web cam that covered the Chatham Maritime Marina is no longer available, the web address is now at a hosting company. What a shame as I found it useful and certainly missed it today.

His whole web site of his items for sale has gone as well. So either given up or moved elsewhere.

Friend of mine has a boat in MDL.
Camera was useful to check if he was on board and therefore unable to deny he was available to receive visitors and supply a beer or two.
Could stick up a webcam at OG Towers but very restricted view and probably all far too tecchy.

Privacy. There was a notice on Alan Buckman's site saying that someone had complained. I don't understand why it's a privacy issue where the view is available to any member of the public walking by.

Probably someone who lives in the flats the opposite of the marina who thought they might be spied upon even though the resolution at that distance was so poor you could not have recognised anyone.

think he did have problem last year regards privacy but that was sorted , not sure if was a new problem or perhaps he just got fed up and called it a day.
