I am sailing across the Indian Ocean (Darwin, Christmas Island, Sri Lanka, Oman, Suez) and am looking for weatherfax frequencies out of India (Bombay/Mumbai), Diego Garcia and anywhere else that may be appropriate. Details of any websites or the actual frequencies themselves would be much appreciated.

You could also visit the HFFax site www.hffax.de/
I presume you have the Indian Ocean pilot by Heikell
The OZ Bom is bom.gov.au/
There ia also the US Navy at Diego Garcia metoc.nsfdg.navy.mil
There is alslo the Indonesian site bmg.go.id
According to Klingenfuss India has Navtex and Radiotelex but not Radiofax

The season for crossing is Jan/feb and you should find plenty of yachts
in Langkawi and Phuket. Convoys are advisable in Oman, Yemen
due to piracy. Stay away from Socotra.
