I’m rubbish at keeping track of weather forecasts. Is there a tool/app that can spot useful future combinations of weather, tide and time - something where you set up a few rules and it sends you an alert by email, WhatsApp, whatever? Essentially advanced warning that a 'good' (or bad) combination is possible and to start watching the weather and planning in case the prediction is right.
For example: last night high water lined up with calm, sunny evening weather outside of work hours. It would’ve been great to get a nudge on Monday saying “perfect evening for paddleboarding”.
Or on my old winter berth, I’d have loved an early alert for a NE F10 that happened to coincide with high water.
Or maybe there's sunshine and a F4-5 Wly/Ely next weekend and it pings on Monday to say next weekend is perfect for a reach each way to Cherbourg?
Does anything like this exist?
Obviously it's got to be free.
