Weather still good

We are basking in glorious sunshine in Ireland for the last two weeks or so. The Azores high is blocking all the bad weather that we usually get from the Atlantic. Parts of Spain and Italy are suffering as a result.
Fingers crossed the high stays where it is

Unusually for us in East Anglia we have been stuck with NE winds bringing cloud and a distinct chill to the air. Family in N. Ireland normally get frustrated with the sunshine symbols over our part of the world whilst listening to the rain lashing on the conservatory roof - the tables have been well and truly turned this last week or two! 😉

The weather in May here in Denmark was extraordinary as well. It was the sixth driest May since weather recordings began in 1874. The current forecasts do not indicate rain coming any time soon, and the national drought index is at 9 out of 10.

As a sailor, it's great, but it's also a bit ominous with all the weather records being broken year after year these days
