weather predictions based on historical data - any websites?

anybody know if there are any websites which show historical weather to enable a prediction in the future.

for example, what winds are likely in the Bay of Biscay in June based on data rather than judgement? Is July or August a better bet?

ive had a Google but not found anything yet, so wondered if anybody uses this sort of information already

Well, looking at it it seems to be right on the first entry, if a day or so late - amazing.

Not a website, but the sort of info you are seeking is well published in Admiralty Pilots. I don't have Bay of Biscay (NP 22) to hand but Chapter 1 of Channel Pilot (NP 27) gives wind information, a whole page for every fourth month (i.e Jan, Apr and Oct) with excellent and easily understood diagrams. There are similar diagrams for swell distribution, mean sea temperature and mean barometric pressure. The Mariner's Hand Book is also a good source of information.
