Off to Poole on Saturday, back Sunday am, empty boat pm, lifted on Monday, back into moneypit mode.

Still the wind's from the North so should be a good sail there and back, going to need the heater, though.

Depressing is it not

I now have to fit all those items enthusiastically bought during the sailing season.
I seem to find, with the best will, I do a couple of hours work and some one says "Fancy a quick half?" All of a sudden it is dark and cold and time to pack up tools and go home!

And we are bound for Plymouth from Shoreham. Fingers crossed it's as they say. I'm looking forward. Now where did I put the old set of thermals?

You're welcome to that Artic adventure, if theyr is right you should have a reach all the way. Light icing of nose by the time you're off the Portland Bill, I reckon.

Re: Trying again for France

Am/was trying for France (again). Keeping a good eye on those North winds as some weather sites predicting 25/30kts in mid channel and I do not really want a beat back on Sunday again if the decrease and shift to NW does not happen.
Stop press as I write Groan have just had a text - my mate has got flue so it may be a just a blast to Brighton or round the Island with an overnighter in the fleshpots of Lymington. Couple of berths if anybody wants to test their thermals, meet Chi M at 9pm pm me.
