Weather: Gales and gusts today (Tuesday)

Just wanted to give you an update on today's winds.

Indications are that the strongest winds will be this morning, but the gusts should ease this afternoon although still gusting 30 to 40 knots in the west as per the attached charts.

Can't you provide better weather? Our boat lift in today had to be cancelled. These 100 tonne cranes are expensive!

I went down to my boat at 06:00 this morning and placed a 'plank-prop' on the leeward/North side of the trailer, just in case the Southerly gusts are greater than forecast, and tip the whole lot over!
It drew a withering remark from SWMBO, obviously.
