So, what am I missing? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Where are the OK and CANCEL buttons??

I want to change my location from London to Camborne, Cornwall.

As someone who has only recently 'upgraded' to Windows XP..yes I know..I was a bit miffed that the weather gadgets only work on Firefox and Hasta la Vista /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I tried Firefox once on my old pooter, but could not get it to work properly for reasons entirely due to my incompetence with computers.

Hi,

I use "Windfinder" which I got as a download from the Mozilla site. I have configured it to display Solent MRSC and flashes when above 25knots. It is only updated every hour.

At the moment it is reporting SW 1knot!

Cheers

Alternative, can you expand the window that opens when you hit the tool box by dragging the bottom border down, this also exposes the OK and cancel buttons.

Doh! Why didn't I think of that? Working fine now (but see PS below).

In my defence, I would say that it seems like poor design to have a box that opens without including the buttons.

PS Just updated to Firefox 2.0.0.10 and got a message to say that the Met Office gadget was incompatible with this version ....
