1500m LW R2/4, I can't remeober when the station changed from R2 to R4. Today they use fequency rather than wavelength I am not sure why they made that change.

Ps some other old wave lengths

194m Capital Radio (little Nicky horn etc)
208m Radio Luxembourg

Ours was white and more rectangular. Can you still buy blank cassette tapes?

Word on the street is the the cassette is the new vinyl!

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Radio_4#History, the change was made in 1978. I'll guess that the ageing audience served by R4 is more rural than the R2 audience.
