Hi Ladies and Gents

Whats the thoughts on this weekend, have seen in the past some excellent forcasting that suits us well ( 2 to 4 ver.) planning Burnham Friday night Brightlingsea Sat evening will make ourselves known if we recognise anyone from the forum, If we miss you give us a shout,
Artemis fo Brighton Sail C2121 will be on duel watch on 77 as have some friends heading there also, although is more likely you will bump into an Irish cpl proping up the bar in RCYC Burnham or CYC at brightlingsea

Almost as helpful as Michael Fish's "all-purpose forecast" for yachtsmen. It was something like "variable, mainly southerly 3 or 4, gusting 5 at times and up to 6 on exposed headlands.

Great sail up to Brightlingsea sat morning avg of 7kn beer festival was pretty much a non event howeve made up for it by a marathon pub crawl. Managed to arrive at the chippy 5 mins before closing (they were not happy) ate our grub in the CYC beer tent and very tasty it was to, however in the state we were in anything would have tasted lovely. Today (sunday) nice sail back today passed Full circle swing on her mooring could not figure out if the attachments at the spreaders were a new form of radar reflector, some form of wind ind or some form of native essex nav equip, Perhaps Jim you woulld like to pass on the the wisdome of lilac and lavender rosettes up the mast

Nev,
s'easy really.
Here is Full Circle after the Morgana family had finished dressing her for our wedding
it is a tribute to the Morgana workmanship that those lovely lilac rosettes are still there.
We will take them down at the end of the year....

Have to agree with you Jim if they are still there at the end of the year it will have been a major feat of engineering. from the pic looks like they done an excellent job all round.
