Based on my assessment of all the information currently available, I am definitely planning to go.

My biggest concern is having the wind diectly behind with the residual sea, so we may leave early Friday morning, rather than Thursday evening, just so it has a little more time to settle down. Might move down to Portsmouth, Thursday night. May also plan a dog-leg to avoid a dead run for too long.

Can still change my mind of course, but am really looking forward to a great weekend!!

Fri am rather than Thurs overnighter. Will aim to leave Gosport c. 0630 Fri

forecasts for sunday/monday from various sources give w6, n2, calm

i'll give it another day before deciding!
