Hi again,
Thought you might appreciate the update for the weekend weather for those taking part in the forum trip....
FRIDAY 3RD OCTOBER:
Trough swinfs south through the Chanel on Friday evening, with a more NW flow following behind the trough. There will be heavy showers as the trough clears through, with scattered showers then following. Turning colder.
Wind W F4-F5 becoming NW F5 behind the trough.
SATURDAY 4TH OCTOBER:
An fairly unstable NW flow through the day with sunny spells and a scattered showers. These could be heavy. Good visibility.
Wind WNW-NW F5.
SUNDAY 5TH OCTOBER:
An indication of a warm front slipping south east through western parts of the UK and Ireland, possibly bringing a risk of low cloud and outbreaks of drizzle. This spreading up the Channel in the afternoon. Probably one we need to keep our eyes on.
Winds WNW F4 occasionalyl F5 becoming WSW later.
Hope that helps,
Simon
