Weather and Jetstream

We were told that last summer's bad weather was due to the jetstream being further South than usual. We've had some fantastic weather already this year on the West of Scotland and it looks the same for the rest of the week. Is the jetstream back to it's "normal" position?

Seen that site, I afraid I can't make head nor tail of that. Is that normal, north,south or what?

i believe that is normal....

In the Spring and early Summer the Met Office were predicting it would be 'normal' as you put it, i.e. further north than last year, for most of this summer. Seems they were right for a change.
