Flipped my dinghy (stupidly towing in gusty F6 conditions) and lost the seat. Boat and dinghy are based a long way from home.
I am ready to make another, the brackets are easily obtainable, but it would be very helpful to have the original dimensions, i.e: length, width and especially the distance between the holes in the mounting brackets underneath. It would save a lot of adjustment next time I get to the boat.
Thanks!

As it happens, I've just measured mine with a view to buying a seat bag to fit.
It is 75x20cm. Sorry, I can't help with the mounting bracket hole measurements but looking at a picture it seems that the brackets are right at the ends on the seat.
You can go and find a piece of wood the right size at least.

where did you get the brackets from. I flipped my dinghy yesterday in the Menai Straits after getting caught out in 55mph winds . surprised i still got the dinghy as the front eye ripped clean off but it held on via the 2 side back up ropes.
