Watt and sea generator

Been eyeing this up for a couple of months after seeing loads dotted around La Rochelle ( which is where theyre made).

Someone posted a similiar question to this a couple of three years ago, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with one? They seem to have a much higher output than the Aquair and the drag is minimal

The cost is very high , but I will whizz down to SIBS and see what they have to say and offer.

The one I'd be eyeing up is the cristec one. Seems more appropriate to boats that aren't open 60s etc. and a bit cheaper than the watt&sea, but still far, far beyond my means unless I score some particularly well remunerated employment this winter.

Edit: Since th elinked post above I did get a price on the cristec: can't remember exactly but it was in the €4k bracket, possibly +VAT.
